I meant to be posting another review tomorrow morning, but David and I had five lovely friends come to town for the Annual Portland Winter Ale Festival. This meant we spent the last three days eating and drinking and shopping and drinking some more. It was an incredibly lovely weekend and has resulted in my being quite exhausted, but pleasantly so. 
I've spent the last few hours since they left watching holiday movies and crocheting. I completed my annual "Miracle on 34th Street" review, along with "The Bishop's Wife," a lovely old holiday film wherein Cary Grant plays an angel who carries a message of love, loyalty, forgiveness, and appreciation for friends and family. Now I'm going to have the rest of my hot cocoa and finish watching a modern holiday favorite of my own, "Bridget Jones' Diary." Then it's off to bed so I can get my holidays cards finished up tomorrow, as well as some gift wrapping done.
